II. Functions of the Family Resource Centre
1. To empower the services and resources for older persons with dementia and their family members through the academic strength and expertise attained from Hong Kong Alzheimer’s Disease Association and Australia;
2. To provide different supports including: supervision on handling skills for cognitive and behavioural changes for family members, integration of community resources, stress management, support group establishment, non-drug treatment guidance, home environment improvement, as well as family support.
III. Clients
Macao residents being diagnosed with dementia and primary home caregivers of dementia persons.
IV. Opening Hours
Mondays to Fridays: 2:30pm - 5:30pm (appointment needed)
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
